Just pre-ordered my copy of Windows 7 Professional for only £30!
Ok, so it’s the upgrade version and it’s a digital download (oh noes i need to burn a disc). With the upgrade version you can still perform a clean install once it detects a previous version of Windows on your system so no love lost there.
I did want Ultimate but they do not offer that through the offer, and after reading the tiny differences (none that even I would use) I was more than happy with Professional.
Should you want to take advantage of this offer, than all you need is a educational e-mail address (you have to be a student or member of staff).
As I am a IT Administrator for a school, I happen to qualify. Go me.
