WTF went wrong with this Hula Hoop?
So what’s been catching my eye this week…
Monday we had the release of Nvidia’s first DX 10.1 40nm graphics cards. (Remember when Nvidia said DX10.1 wasnt important) The GT 220 and GT210. Both are dire. (Both have also been available for a short period as OEM product only) Dire at their price point anyway. ATI’s own offering at the same price point easily beats them. Not only that Nvidia older cards at similar price points beats it too. Oh dear.
Tuesday ATI released it’s mainstream DX11 Cards Radeon HD 5750 & 5770. Honestly these could of performed better. They was aiming to replace the 4870 & 4850 but failing to live up to it. However I think this will improve in DX11 games (obviously) and more mature drivers.
Watched “The Taking Of Pelham 123″. Enjoyed it.
Wednesday was quiet for myself. No complaining for me. People need to play more L4D and stop doing Uni work. Although it has been giving me a good chance to play more GRID online (great fun, great crashes) and also to try out Operation Flashpoint 2 (do not like). I also tried to capture Bus Busy Body friend, their mouth are at it like rabbits. Calm down ladies.
Thursday Steam had a great offer on Saints Row 2 for £3.75, so that was snapped up, gonna give co-op a try this weekend.
Friday I’m going out for a free meal tonight. Fuck yeah.
Let hope people like this burn in house fires.

A good week this week? I think so.
Rumors about a new Left 4 Dead update containing new campaigns, matchmaking system, balancing items issues is good news on it’s own.
But we also have (hopefully) the launch (NDA lifted, reviews out) of the new ATI Radeon series cards tomorrow! Some serious reading and drooling then this week.
On top of that my week off work for the half term has been signed off today, only another month away for some quality time off!
By the way… Good luck Amy on her Job interview this coming Friday! (We could do with some stable funds coming in, so I can buy PC stuff!)
