Nothing to report. Just me being lazy as usual. Although I did go to Bath racecourse on the weekend and done some 1 and 2 pound betting. I won a few of the races and came away with a profit. It was even more the better because I found 20 quid on the floor. Must of fell out of some rich turd’s wallet.
August Bank Holiday I shall be geeking it out and spending time at i40. My ticket is booked and paid and my seat hotly debated, but picked. It’s been almost 5 years since I last attended an i-series LAN and I am really looking forward to this one. I Get to see some people I see regularly (Tom), some people I’ve not seen for awhile (Phil) and some I’ve never met in person (Ben). All in all it should be good 4 days.
(Yes Ben, I stole your picture)

Myself and Ben are proud to announce our new project SoiDH – Source or it Didn’t Happen.
A pick of rumors, facts, articles and reviews from around the web’s best Technology sites and forums. Enough to keep the every-geek happy. From time to time you will also see some in-house reviews and articles.
We enjoy reading this type of stuff and enjoy posting about it so creating a site where we can do just that seemed like the logical choice.
Hope you guys enjoy visiting it. http://www.soidh.co.uk
I went to the Theater last night. It was awesome. The price of food and drink was not. A single 500ml bottle of Pepsi costed £2.20. Robbery. I ended up paying around £7.40 for two 500ml bottles of Pespsi and a single bag of 215g of Wine Gums. If it wasn’t for us being already up at the Upper Circle we would of walked back out down to the local Tesco express to smuggle supplies in.
Last night I went to see Derren Brown at the Bristol Hippodrome. It was such an awesome show which was let down by the cramped seating. The view was great, was facing center stage, but as we left it late booking we was seated in the Upper Circle, which are cramped “padded” wooden benches. It was not helped by the fact that there was obese people sat next to us which occupied more than their paid for allocated seating. I had planned to take some photo of Derren but a noticed was issue before the performance to indicated it is forbidden, I also felt that it could spoil the surprise for anyone planning on seeing it. I did however take a photo of the stage, although it came out rather poor.
I will not go into any detail on what he performed but if you have watched any of his theater work on the TV then you can expect similar stuff but done differently. There quite a bit of new stuff too and as always I was blown away on how it was done. It all ends in typical Derren Brown style where it all just comes together and your left thinking you cheeky clever bastard!
The show started just after 19:30 and ended just after 22:30. There was around a 20 minute intermission in between. It just amazes me how much energy he performs with considering he does it mostly every night.
Not only was his “magic” outstanding, his presence on stage, his whole showmanship and the way he interacts with the audience is all a joy to watch.
Highly recommended.
Late last night I was having a bath and wanted to shut the door. I leaned over from within the tub to try and reach it, it was just outside my stretch so I got up a little to reach further. The next thing I know I’m lying dazed on the floor with Amy standing over me looking worried. I obviously slipped and came crashing to the floor on my head. It hurt like hell. Suffice to say that I still felt dizzy and slow when I woke up this morning, work was kind enough to let me stay up home, where I rested in bed all day. This evening I’m feeling a lot more normal again, although I don’t think the bruise on the back of my head will go down any time soon.
As the title suggest, have a great 2010!
Won’t be here over Christmas, so everyone have a good one!
